Neuro linguistic programming is a psychological approach that involves analysing strategies and applying them to people achieving their goals. It relates language, thoughts and patterns of behaviour. A core concept of NLP can be summarised by the saying “THE MAP IS NOT THE TERRITORY”, which highlights the differences between reality and belief. It is believed that everyone’s perception of the world could be limited, distorted and unique. Through NLP, we help people to perceive their “MAP” and its effect on their thoughts and behaviour.
We use it to understand persons thinking, emotional state, behavioural patterns and aspirations to assist them developing new strategies to replace unproductive ones by using their senses like auditory, visual, olfactory, gustatory or kinaesthetic. It helps building effective communication between conscious and unconscious and problem solving skills.
